Landstar System, Inc. ranks 53 out of 500 companies on the Forbes 2023 Best Midsized Employers list published February 15, 2023. To be considered, the employer must have 1,000 to 5,000 U.S.-based employees. Then, workers from the participating companies were asked if they would recommend their current employer to friends and family (on a scale of 0 to 10), and to cite any other employer they would also recommend. The final list ranks the 500 midsize employers that received the most recommendations.

Forbes also named Landstar System, Inc. as one of America’s Best Mid-Sized Companies. Landstar comes in at No. 31 on the 2023 list of the top 100 companies published December 16, 2022.

The publication evaluated over 1,000 companies with a market value between $2 billion and $10 billion. According to Forbes, “the top 100 ranking is based on earnings growth, sales growth, return on equity and total stock return for the latest 12 months available and over the last five years. We [Forbes] gave more weight to the latest year’s data in the ranking. All data is as of December 9, 2022.”
